Verizon has started rolling out Samsung Pay to compatible phones

by 17th October 2015

last week Verizon confirmed its plan to support the Samsung Pay by stating it that it will be giving support to those devices that are compatible on its network. This will be done via a software update that will make possible for the compatible devices to use the Samsung pay in the future. The good news for the users of this network is that Verizon has started to roll out that software that will make the devices to use the Samsung Pay.

One thing to keep in mind for the users of this carrier that when their devise will be updated with this update, they won’t be getting the Samsung Pay app automatically, and users have to download this app once it will be available in the Google Play Store.

For those who are not aware of the what phones are getting this update are the

1. Samsung Galaxy S6,

2. S6 edge,

3. Note5, and

4. S6 edge+.

As for the banks are concerned for Samsung Pay, only American Express, Bank of America, Citi Bank, U.S. Bank, and Synchrony Financial currently support the mobile payments service.
